Social Engine has a loyalty program built into every account. You don't sign up for it and you don't need a code. Your first order puts you on the first rung, and from there you can climb five tiers: Spark, Surge, Momentum, Apex and Icon. This article explains how the tiers work, how the +30% wallet bonus and points stack on top, and what it realistically takes to reach Icon.
One thing up front: the program is designed to reward people who keep coming back, not to push anyone into spending more than their plans need. If you only order a few times a year, the first tiers still save you money on every order. If you run a business on our services, the higher tiers are where the savings add up.
The five tiers
Your tier is set by what you have spent on orders over the last 12 months, recalculated daily. Here is the ladder as it stands today:
- Spark ($0 to $500 in 12-month spend): 3% off every order, 1x points.
- Surge ($501 to $1,000 in 12-month spend): 5% off every order, 1.25x points, +2% extra on deposits, refill windows +15 days.
- Momentum ($1,001 to $2,500 in 12-month spend): 7% off every order, 1.5x points, +3% extra on deposits, refill windows +15 days.
- Apex ($2,501 to $10,000 in 12-month spend): 9% off every order, 2x points, +5% extra on deposits, refill windows +30 days.
- Icon ($10,001 and up in 12-month spend): 12% off every order, 3x points, +7% extra on deposits, refill windows +30 days.
Higher tiers add service perks too, such as a priority support queue, early access to new services, a dedicated chat lane and, at Icon, a personal account manager. The full comparison is on the loyalty page.
How your tier is worked out
- It counts spend on orders, not deposits. Money sitting in your wallet doesn't move you up until you spend it.
- Refunds are taken off. If part of an order is refunded because it couldn't be delivered, that amount doesn't count.
- It is a rolling 12 months. Spend from more than a year ago falls off, so your tier can go down as well as up. We email you before you move down so you can plan.
- It updates daily. You don't wait for a monthly review to see a new tier.
Layer one: the tier discount
Your tier discount comes straight off the order price. Even at Spark, the starting tier, every order is 3% cheaper. At Icon it is 12%. Volume discounts on bigger packages apply as well, so a large package at a high tier benefits twice.
Layer two: the +30% wallet bonus
When you add funds to your wallet, we add 30% on top as bonus balance. Higher loyalty tiers add extra on top of that, up to +7% more at Icon. A few rules are worth knowing:
- Bonus balance is spent first at checkout.
- Bonus balance can't be withdrawn or refunded to your card or crypto wallet. It is for spending on services.
- Only deposits get the bonus. The bonus itself doesn't count toward your tier until it is spent on orders.
Layer three: points
Every order earns points: one point per dollar, multiplied by your tier, rounded down. 100 points convert to $1 of wallet credit whenever you like. Points expire after 12 months without any account activity, so an active account keeps them.
On top of order points there are achievements, one-off badges with points attached for milestones like your first order, your first deposit, ordering on several platforms or referring a friend who orders. Together, the current achievements are worth 1,150 points. Weekly streaks add a growing points bonus when you order in back-to-back weeks, up to four weeks.
How the layers stack: a worked example
This is a hypothetical example to show the arithmetic, using the current program rules. It is not a typical customer or a promise of savings. Compare someone at Spark with someone at Icon, each depositing $100 and placing an order listed at $200.
- Deposit. At Spark, a $100 deposit gets +30% and becomes $130 of balance. At Icon, it gets +37% and becomes $137.
- Order discount. The $200 order costs $194 at Spark (3% off) and $176 at Icon (12% off).
- Points. That order earns 194 points at Spark (1x) and 528 points at Icon (3x), which is worth $5.28 of credit at 100 points per dollar.
- Refill cover. At Icon, refill windows are 30 days longer, so a tier that normally has 90 days would have 120.
The layers don't multiply into anything magical, and we don't want to oversell them. They are a straightforward set of savings that grow as your use grows.
What it takes to reach Icon
Icon starts at $10,001 of order spend in a rolling 12 months. That is a level most individual creators won't reach, and they don't need to. It is designed for agencies, resellers and businesses that order for many accounts. If that is you, the main routes are:
- Consolidate your ordering. If several team members order separately, one account climbs faster than several.
- Resell through the API. The Reseller API uses linear pricing, and your loyalty discount applies on top, so your margin improves as you climb. See the reseller playbook.
- Talk to us about volume. The partner program is for agencies and panels, and custom pricing on volume is an Icon perk.
Climb because the work is growing, not to chase a badge.
Other ways to earn
Two programs sit alongside the loyalty tiers. The affiliate program pays wallet credit when people you refer make deposits. Events such as challenges and live sessions can carry reward points for taking part. Neither changes how your tier is calculated, but both add to what your account earns.
Common questions
- Do I need to join? No. Every account is in the program from the first order.
- Can I drop a tier? Yes, because the window rolls. Older spend falls off over time.
- Do discounts stack with the wallet bonus? Yes. The tier discount comes off the price and the bonus is added when you deposit.
- Is any of this withdrawable? No. Bonus balance and points credit are for spending on services.
Worked examples in this guide are hypothetical and for illustration only. Social platforms set their own rules and can remove engagement at any time; refills cover drops inside your tier's window.
