How to resell successfully with Social Engine

A reseller playbook: choosing a niche, pricing from our linear API rate, connecting your panel, support, refunds and refills, and staying honest with clients.

Reselling social growth services is a real business, and like any real business it lasts when customers come back. This guide is the playbook we would want if we were starting a reseller brand on top of Social Engine today: how to pick a niche, how to price, how to connect your panel, how to handle support, and how to stay honest with the people who pay you.

One thing up front. The service you resell is social proof: followers, views, likes and members that make an account look established. Social proof can help a profile get discovered and help a visitor decide to follow or buy. It does not replace good content or a good offer, and it does not guarantee reach or sales. Resellers who explain that clearly keep clients longer than resellers who overpromise.

Pick a niche before you pick a price

A general SMM panel competes on price with thousands of others. A focused reseller competes on understanding. Pick a group of customers you can actually talk to and serve better than a generic list of services can.

  • Local businesses (salons, gyms, restaurants, trades) who need a credible Instagram or Facebook page before they spend on ads.
  • Musicians and labels who want a release to look alive in its first week while the real promotion runs.
  • Creators starting on TikTok, YouTube or Twitch who need a plan, not just a number.
  • Community owners running Telegram channels or WhatsApp channels where member count is the first thing a visitor sees.
  • Agencies who want a white-label supplier they can plug into their own reporting.

Your niche shapes everything else: which services you list, how you describe them, what you charge, and which questions your support will get. It is much easier to write a useful onboarding guide for coffee shops than for everyone.

Price from your real cost

Orders placed through the Reseller API are priced linearly: charge = rate x quantity / 1000. The rate comes from the service list and is the same whatever the quantity, so 100 units cost exactly a tenth of 1,000 units. That makes cost-plus pricing simple, because your cost per unit never changes with order size.

For example, suppose a service in your panel has a rate of $2.00 per 1,000 (a made-up number for illustration; use the live list). A customer orders 5,000. Your cost is 2.00 x 5,000 / 1000 = $10.00. If you charge your customer $3.50 per 1,000, they pay $17.50 and your gross margin is $7.50, or about 43% of the sale. Out of that margin you still pay for payment fees, support time, refunds you choose to give, and your own marketing, so check the whole picture before you settle on a markup.

Avoid racing to the bottom. If you are the cheapest panel, your customers are the ones who leave for whoever is a cent cheaper next week. If you are the most helpful, your customers stay.

Connect your panel or your own code

The Reseller API follows the standard SMM panel API v2 format, so most panel software that already talks to other providers can add us as a provider with an API URL and a key. If you are building your own storefront, you can call the same endpoints directly.

  1. Create an API key in your account under API keys. Treat it like a password and keep it on your server.
  2. Add funds to your wallet. API orders are paid from your balance.
  3. Import the service list with action=services and map each product and tier to your own listings.
  4. Place orders with action=add, track them with action=status (which returns the start count and remaining quantity), and use action=refill and action=cancel where the service supports them.
  5. Check action=balance on a schedule and top up before you run low, so customer orders never fail for lack of funds.

Natural delivery works through the API too: drip-feed orders are spread out over time instead of arriving at once. Read natural delivery explained before you decide what to offer as your default.

Your costs fall as you grow

Every account is in our loyalty program from the first order. Your tier is set by what you spent on orders over the last 12 months, and your tier discount applies on top of the linear API rate. That means your margin improves as your volume grows, without renegotiating anything. The ladder today:

  • Spark (from your first order): 3% off every order.
  • Surge (from $501 of spend): 5% off every order, +2% extra on deposits, refill windows +15 days.
  • Momentum (from $1,001 of spend): 7% off every order, +3% extra on deposits, refill windows +15 days.
  • Apex (from $2,501 of spend): 9% off every order, +5% extra on deposits, refill windows +30 days.
  • Icon (from $10,001 of spend): 12% off every order, +7% extra on deposits, refill windows +30 days.

Deposits also earn a +30% wallet bonus, and higher tiers add extra on top. Two rules matter for your bookkeeping: bonus balance is spent first at checkout, and it can't be withdrawn or refunded to a card or crypto wallet. Plan your deposits around what you will actually spend. The details of how tiers, bonus and points combine are in getting to Icon, and the Icon tier at $10,001 of 12-month spend takes you from 3% to 12% off.

Running a panel or agency at real volume? The Partner program is for you: tell us about your business and we will talk about onboarding and volume.

Support is your product

Most reseller complaints come from expectations, not delivery. Set them before the order, and you will answer far fewer tickets after it.

  • Say what you need. A public link, never a password. The account must stay public until delivery completes.
  • Say when it starts. Give a realistic start time and, for natural delivery, how many days the order is spread over.
  • Record the start count. The status response includes the count when delivery began. Save it and show it to your client, so a refill conversation starts from facts.
  • Explain drops in advance. Platforms remove engagement from time to time. Tell clients which refill window their order has and how to ask for a refill.
  • Answer in one place. A single support email or ticket form, with a promised response time you can actually keep.
We will deliver what you ordered, show you the start count, and refill drops inside your window. We can't promise likes turn into sales; your content and offer do that part.

Refunds and refills, handled cleanly

If an order is cancelled or only partly delivered, the undelivered part is refunded to your wallet automatically, to the cent. Pass that through to your client promptly and you will rarely see a dispute. For drops, each tier has a refill window that starts when the order completes (Standard 30 days, Premium 60 days, Elite 90 days, plus any extension from your loyalty tier). Inside the window you can press Refill on the order in your account or call action=refill from your panel, and the shortfall is redelivered at no cost.

Write your own refund and refill policy in plain language and link it at checkout. It should match ours or be stricter, never looser, otherwise you are promising something your supplier doesn't cover. Refills and drops walks through the mechanics, and our guarantees page has the exact rules.

Stay compliant and honest

The resellers who last are the ones clients can trust. A few lines we suggest you never cross:

  • No guarantees of reach, virality or revenue. You sell delivery of a quantity, with a refill window. That is the promise.
  • Be clear about what the service is. Don't describe purchased followers as organic fans or as targeted buyers.
  • Respect platform rules. Social platforms set their own terms and can remove engagement or act on accounts. Tell clients that, and let them decide.
  • No fake reviews or fake testimonials for your own panel, and no spam to find customers.
  • Keep records: order numbers, start counts, what you promised and when. They protect you and your client.

Not ready to run a panel? The affiliate program is a lighter path: share your link and earn 10% of every deposit your referrals make in their first 12 months, paid as wallet credit. The same honesty rules apply: no spam, no self-referral and no misleading claims.

Worked examples in this guide are hypothetical and for illustration only. Social platforms set their own rules and can remove engagement at any time; refills cover drops inside your tier's window.
